Aloha! I’m Mouse, the new owner of AdverCash. I am sure there are some of you who have pretty unhappy that Cronus has sold AdverCash and even more of you who are concerned about the latest happenings (DDoS et all) and my future plans for AdverCash. This post will pretty much sum up all my plans nicely.
Who are you?I am Mouse. You know, the cute little furry creatures scampering around. I mean, the small and cute ones, not those large rats that run around in sewers.
I heard you ran a PTC before. Which one?I can’t tell you, unfortunately.
Will you eventually reveal who you are?Yep.
Will you still be paying members?Unless I have incriminating evidence that someone has broken the rules of the TOS (or if the LHC destroys Earth first), everyone will be paid.
The site was down due to the DDoS attacks and when I came back, my payment was denied!I am now in the process of calculating the losses all you members have incurred due to this and there are compensation plans in place. More details to follow after I’ve managed to dig up the information.
What else can I expect from you taking over?There are a couple of things I have the intention of doing now that I have taken over.
Fixture of bugs – While browsing through the source code of AdverCash, I’ve noticed quite a number of things that have gone wrong / is going on wrong / will go wrong. These bugs will be fixed in the upcoming days.
Server move – Currently, the script is hosted at RackSpace. The site will be moved to ThePlanet in the coming weeks.
Script upgrade – The script is old and can do with a lot of improvements. Over the next couple of months, the entire script will scrapped and a new one will take its place, retaining / upgrading all its features and adding even better ones.
AdverBusiness – This will, of course, continue. Since you guys like it so much, why should I stop it?
I’ve read that there are some bugs in the code. Like I said – thy bugs shall be squashed.
Changes in TOS - The TOS may contain some clauses which aren't very friendly. I'll see how they can be modified to make everyone happy.
